Notes: We will have a DJ at most dances, often a demo dance by professional
dancers, together with a dance class and lively dance music all evening. These are always fantastic events at one of the friendliest
venues in Yorkshire. So get on down to the Hollygarth and join us at one of our regular dance evenings. Beginners classes
typically include Salsa or other Latin dance and you are especially encouraged to bring along a non-dancing partner to join
in the fun because everybody is welcome. Dancing during the evening will usually be Salsa plus other Latin dances which might
include Cha Cha, Tango, Bachata, Rumba, Kizomba, Merengue and more. The evening usually includes light refreshments and sometimes
a themed buffet. There is something for everybody, so don't miss out on the fun at the Hollygarth (see dates above for
more details).
Night of Dance - Bachatango
Dates: every 3rd Friday of the month with the first date in 2012 on

Notes: a lovely free style evening of dance at the lovely Hollygarth club.

36th Day Of Dance
Date: tba.
Time: 0900 - 1830 (classes), 2000 - 2315 (dances).
Venue: Victoria Hall, Saltaire.
Cost: £5 (by xxth May or £6 after this) for each class and £8 (by XXth May or £10
after this) for entry to all the dances in the evening, book in advance via Denise or their web site.
Notes: This is the latest event of what is the largest one day dance
festival in the country. What's even better is that it's right on your door step! This year, as usual, there are two events.
The first event is in May and the second in October. There will be nearly 40 dance, song and music workshops to choose
from this time. Each will last about 90 minutes and they will run throughout the day from 09:00 onwards. A dancer's
dream! The choice is from Rock n' Roll and Tango through Jive, Bachata, Cha Cha and Swing to Salsa - the dance of dances!
Classes are set in the grand old Victoria Hall, near Salt's mill and the centre piece of Saltaire. There are five evening
dances (and your dance ticket covers them all!) with the Cuban-Brazilian-Spanish rhythms of Honey Drum and Salsa dance from
Fuego Latino being of most interest to us. All proceeds go to Chernobyl Children's Project (CCP), Oxfam, Campaign Against
the Arms Trade (CAAT) and Yorkshire Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) . All good causes. Not only that but it is
also very good value for money. It's the best fun you can have on an all dayer by far with dance teachers from all over
the North giving their time for free for you and for charity. Get there and have some fun and try something new.

Northern Salsa Clubs. A fun two days a weekend starting with a dance Friday evening, a full day of classes on Saturday and
